PRC Approves Pattern Development’s New Mexico Wind Projects

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, October 5, 2018, – The Public Regulation Commission (PRC) voted to approve the location control permit for Pattern Development’s Corona Wind Projects in a 4-0 vote. As a result, construction can begin on an estimated 950 wind turbines, to produce 2,200 MW of power.

Pattern Energy Completes Sale of Operations in Chile

SAN FRANCISCO, California, August 21, 2018 – Pattern Energy Group Inc. (NASDAQ and TSX: PEGI) (“Pattern Energy” or the “Company”) today announced it completed the sale of the Company’s operations in Chile, which principally consist of its 81 megawatt (“MW”) owned interest in the 115 MW El Arrayán Wind project (“El Arrayán Wind”), to affiliates of Arroyo Energy Investors (“Arroyo”) for which Pattern Energy received a cash consideration of $70.5 million before transaction related expenses of approximately $2.0 million. This price represents a cash available for distribution (“CAFD”) multiple that is greater than the CAFD multiple for projects the Company has acquired in the past.

Pattern Development Signs Power Purchase Agreements in New Mexico with Silicon Valley Clean Energy and Monterey Bay Community Power

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, July 31, 2018 – Pattern Energy Group 2 LP (Pattern Development) today announced it has signed 15-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) and Monterey Bay Community Power (MBCP) to deliver wind power from the 200 megawatt (MW) Duran Mesa Wind project currently in development near Corona, New Mexico. SVCE has signed a 15-year PPA for 110 MW and MBCP has signed a 15-year PPA for 90 MW.

Pattern Development Acquires Western Spirit Transmission Line and Mesa Canyons Wind Project in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, May 21, 2018 – Pattern Energy Group 2 LP (Pattern Development) announced today the acquisition of two development assets in New Mexico from Clean Line Energy Partners, the Western Spirit Transmission Line (Western Spirit) and the Mesa Canyons Wind Farm (Mesa Canyons). The addition of Mesa Canyons will bring Pattern Development’s wind development footprint in the Estancia Valley of New Mexico to more than 3,000 MW.

Pattern Development Completes 147 MW Wind Project in Québec, Becoming Canada's Largest Wind Power Producer

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 11, 2018 – Pattern Energy Group LP (Pattern Development) today announced the completion of its 147 megawatt (MW) Mont Sainte-Marguerite Wind power facility. Mont Sainte-Marguerite Wind is located approximately 50 kilometers south of Québec City, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. As announced in June 2017, the facility will be acquired by Pattern Energy Group Inc. (NASDAQ and TSX: PEGI) (Pattern Energy) and PSP Investments. Closing is expected in the coming weeks.

Samsung and Pattern Development Start Operations at North Kent Wind Power Facility in Ontario

CHATHAM-KENT, ONTARIO April 9, 2018 Samsung Renewable Energy Inc. Pattern Development Completes Financing of Stillwater Wind Project in Montana

Toronto, Ontario, October 9, 2017 – The Belle River Wind power facility in Lakeshore, Ontario is now up and running. Samsung Renewable Energy, Inc. Pattern Development Completes Largest Wind Project in Bristish Columbia
